Yup! you're right
all the files are hidden by default

So if you want to show all the hidden files in FINDER
then you can run these commands below in TERMINAL

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE ; killall Finder

iATKOS S3 V2 has its driver, and works perfectly...

hi i downloaded iatkos l1 twice using the hotfile.com links u posted here. but wen ever i click on the install lion app i get this error window saying "This copy of the Install Mac OS X Lion.app application is damaged, and can't be used to install Mac OS X". i burnt it in mac lion gm 10.7.2 and in windows 7. i even expand the dmg in transmac and i burnt an iso dvd also i keep gettin the same error window. i cant even boot it wen i restart. i checked the md5 dmg and they matched, even all 12parts from the hotfile links matched. i tried burning the dmg on a usb and external and i get the same problem. u got any advice for me please ? thanks. u can contact me via email aajoolay@gmail.com

Maybe you can solve this like i did...
Just convert the iATKOS_L1.dmg to .iso using Disk Utility in Mac OSX
(convert to .cdr and then change the file extension to .iso)
Then burn it (i used Alcohol 120 in Windows 7)

It worked for me... :wink:

Also when i use the npci-0x2000 pcirootuid=1 -v
i get a pcirootuid=0 has a last line in verbose mode which just stays there and does not boot into lion.Any ideas Thks

Hahaha...

you should not worry about that false report mate

FYI, the original LION for pure Mac can be installed ONLY on the GPT/GUID partiton
and some files in the iATKOS L1 installation package (incl. the "Install Mac OS X Lion.app") have been patched in order to make them work on both GPT/GUID and MBR scheme partitions

so that's why the LION thought its original file has been damaged
it's not a big deal since it's just a false alarm :p

And please remember this:

WE ARE RUNNING THE ILLEGAL HACKINTOSH !!!

and Apple does not authorize the use of the Mac OS X on any x86 PC other than the ones it has developed itself.

If you still insist to install the IATKOS L1 within your previous hackintosh
rather than running a fresh install from DVD
then you have to run the "/System/Installation/Packages/OSInstall.mpkg"

but you also have to run these following comands in TERMINAL to make the hidden file shown in FINDER

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE ; killall Finder

then you can directly burn the DMG file using the TRANSMAC

Thanks for the advice I did the whole iso burn plan but I got a prob now when I boot it via boot menu wen I restart my pc, the bootload freezes wen it loads & I get sum ebios error blah blah. My specs are intel i5 650 cpu. Dp55wb mboard. 2gig ram ddr3 1333mhz. 320gig hdd. Nvidia gt240 512mb. Got any more advice 4 me lol
