I joined the files, but when I tried to mount the dmg I got a illegal seek error

Any ideas?

Must be a dodgy download worked perfect for me but I did download it in windows in the first instance then used winrar so not sure what to use in mac

Found the problem, can't join the files from the desktop. Once I move them to the hard drive it worked perfectly.

this cd 2 of 2 ... where cd 1? ..
browsing the cd i found software product wich is a shortcut and not the install ..
