![]() Mac Platform: UB Includes: K OS version: Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger or Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard Do you have dozens of PDF files from your favorite scientific articles scattered on your harddrive? Do you also try to desperately organize them by renaming and archiving them in folders? But like the piles of printed articles on your desk, you can't keep up with all the new papers you download, and despite all your efforts it has become impossible to find that one article. Finally that all belongs to the past. We've been there, trust us, we know. That's why we wrote Papers, our latest application exclusively for the Mac. Papers will revolutionize the way you deal with scientific papers. Search for articles using the built in search engines, retrieve and archive PDFs, and read and study them all from within Papers, your personal library of Science. New in Papers 1.9 * Support for syncing with the new Papers for iPhone and iPod touch. * Improved metadata detection in PDF files and webpages. * Improved working with collections. * Added support for French and German proxies * Tons of other improvements and bugfixes... * UPDATE: Papers 1.9.1 - More bug fixes. I've installed this last version of Papers. I've block connection to mekentosj.com using LittleSnitch but Papers.app says it's a pirated version. The application automatically closed and open Safari, accessing esellerate online store for Mekentosj (the developer of Papers).

It's working fine for me.
You have to drag the k'ed .plist file into your /User/Library/Preferences folder as it says on the box.. ![]() Maybe a short LittleSnitch not blocking glitch, where it connected to Mekentosj? Clean reinstall? |

Unfortunately I am having issues with this version. I was using the K'd version of 1.9 and it worked just fine. When I updated to this version, everything seems to work except for when I try to open a new paper after searching in the pubmed database. Every time I click on a paper in the search box, the program hangs and then crashes. I tried a fresh install and no luck. Anyone else have this problem?

I've copied the plist file to ~/Library/Preferences but Papers keeps saying that I'm using a pirated key right after it has finished rebuilding the spotlight index.
I've tried to copy the plist file to /Library/Preferences, the same thing still happened. I try to look for invisibles files using Main Menu to reveal invisibles files, but I can't find any invisible file that might used by Papers. Anybody can help? |
