HoudahGeo: Photo geocoding for the Mac

With HoudahGeo you may "pin" photos to the locations where they were taken. The thus created information may be exported to EXIF / XMP. This allows for further processing in a number of third party applications or web sites (iPhoto, Flickr, Panoramio, ...).

HoudahGeo allows you to share your photos in Google Earth and can publish them to Flick!

HoudahGeo covers the two very different workflows in photo geocoding:

The person who wants to store the location the photo was taken as a means of indexing, finding, browsing, ... photos. He/She would geocode images before importing them into iPhoto/Aperture/Lightroom. The photo library application will read EXIF/XMP data written by HoudahGeo.

The person who wants to publish a selection of his photos. He/She will access iPhoto / Aperture / Lightroom from within HoudahGeo. The photos may have been previously geocoded or can be geocoded now using a GPX track log or the map interface. The ultimate goal is to share the photos on Flickr! or Google Earth.
