IconBuilder 8.5.2

IconBuilder is a filter for use with Adobe Photoshop or Macromedia Fireworks that makes creating icons for either the Macintosh or Windows operating systems a snap. IconBuilder has been enhanced for increased compatibility for use with Photoshop CS / Fireworks MX and Mac OS X.

Keep in mind that IconBuilder itself is not an icon editor. You use your existing image editing software as your editor in combination with IconBuilder as your assembly tool. Using this method, making icons has never been easier!
WHAT’S NEW
Version 8.5.2:

Fixed a crash on 10.6 when copying grid into Photoshop layer
Fixes for missing icons and color shifts while importing on Snow Leopard
IconExaminer: Fixed problem reading ICO files with invalid dimensions
Fixed a problem with -2000 errors being reported when saving ICO files
ICO files will now be created correctly according to the setting in Options
Updated help links for icon design on Apple and Microsoft sites
Changed minimum OS version to from 10.3.9 (Panther) to 10.4 (Tiger)
Removed support for old plug-in format used by PS 7, CS, CS2 and Elements

REQUIREMENTS

Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later (10.4 or later for Intel) and one or more of the following: Photoshop 7 or later, Elements 2 or later, or Macromedia Fireworks. Adobe Creative Suite 3 required for Intel.
