MacTheRipper 4.0 [k\'ed]
![]() Product Description: MacTheRipper is a DVD Ripper (extractor) for Mac OS X. It can extract commercial DVD movies to your hard drive, minus all the copy protection and region controls put in place by DVD publishers. Mac The Ripper removes CSS encryption, Macrovision protection, and sets the disc's region code to '0' for region-free by default, and is capable of removing RCE region protection as well, making an unrestricted copy of any DVD movies you own. It doesn't rely on the DVD drive to get the CSS decryption keys, so that means that you do not need to play the DVD with DVD Player in order to rip it to your hard drive unprotected. MacTheRipper is also capable of removing UOPs, or User Operation Prohibitions, which are the settings that prevent you from skipping or fast forwarding certain parts of DVDs, such as FBI warnings, previews, logos, intros, etc. Mac The Ripper is also able to extract discs with the new ARccOS protection, as well as DVDs that have been damaged or improperly mastered. Download : http://hotfile.com/dl/51268779/162ccb4/_osxstation.com_MacTheRipper_4.0__K_ed_.zip.html Instructions: 1) Download 2) Unzip 3) Mount 4) Move/Copy the MTR4.0 folder to /Applications 5) Install LibdvdCSS.mpkg 6) Move/Copy mtr.lic to ~/Library/Preferences 7) Move/Copy libMTR.dylib to /usr/local/lib (cmd+shift+G => /usr/local/lib) 8) Give it a try BLOCK ALL OUTGOING CONNECTIONS WITH LITTLE SNITCH courtesy of Valashtar Last edited by osxstation; June 28th, 2010 at 10:03 PM. |

Thnx osxstation for the share. Keep doin' it!
You might want to add some of this information to your post. The included app with hack is-- MTR 4.0 UB 7.8MB Created/Modified 3/23/10 (4.0.0 StormBringer). Or even the ReadMe, that includes-- Instructions: 4) Move/Copy the MTR4.0 folder to /Applications 5) Install libDVDCSS.mpkg 6) Move/Copy mtr.lic to ~/Library/Preferences 7) Move/Copy libMTR.dylib to /usr/local/lib BLOCK ALL OUTGOING CONNECTIONS WITH LITTLE SNITCH. FWIW, this seems to be a change from the previous naming convention, which ran something like-- MTR 3.0-- r12, r14b, r14c, r14d, r14i, r14l, r14m, r16, r17, etc. |

Ah, reminds me I'm using Glimmerblocker which is a bit of a bother with Little Snitch. Thanks anyway.
