Merlin 2.7.9 [UB/K] Mac OSX

Name: Merlin 2.7.9
Mac Platform: UB
Includes: K

OS version: 10.4.11 or higher

Description

Merlin 2.7.9 + patch

NOTE!!: the best way to patch the application is to DRAG it on the patcher!

MindMaps
Brainstorm with your colleagues and capture information as a Mindmap. Whether you are using Novamind or MindManager, you can quickly and easily take the results of your brainstorming sessions and open it in Merlin as the basis for creating the initial structure of your project.

MS Project
Beginning with MS Project 98 and up through MS Project 2007, Merlin understands the file formats offered for this Windows program. Merlin can read MPP, XML or MPX files and write to XML or MPX formats if necessary. This helps pave the way free of obstacles to easily collaborate with those using Microsoft Office Project on Windows.

Elements
Elements represent one of the most compelling and unique features in Merlin. Elements allow you to attach key data and information to individual activities, milestones, and projects. Take advantage of the six different types of Elements that Merlin provides to integrate into your project plans. Elements helps ensure that all key data, documents, and information is readily available and optimally organized to help you retain control of your projects. Elements also offer a rich layer of knowledge by offering version control, allowing you to trace the history of changes made to critical information during the course of a project.

Version 2.7.9:
Merlin now accepts XML snippets sent via e-mail from Things.
The import of native MS Project 2010 files (.mpp) is now supported. However the usage of .xml files is still highly recommended.
The scripts folder can be now accessed over the menu item “Open Scripts Folder” listed under the “Send To” menu.
Compatibility to Mac OS 10.7 “Lion” – work in progress, do not use it in a productive environment! Feedback is appreciated.
Now the “Group Path” property is available in the extended search.

Resolved Issues
Opening contact data in MS Entourage out of a related resource was broken.
Under some circumstances the HTML export of resources did fail.
User resources with slashes in their names could not log into a project.
Under some circumstances NovaMind 4.x files could not be imported.
The extended search in the utilization view did not work properly.
Updated German, French and English texts.
Percentage input fields in the inspector were too small for some values.
Under some circumstances, resource assignments could be deleted when syncing with iCal.
Elements could not be copied with the “Copy To Library” command.
Workspaces, style sets and column sets could not be renamed after having been copied to a project.
Wrong hyperlinks for file elements appeared in the PDF export of the classic report.
Importing certain .mpx files could lead to an exception.
Projects opened from a read-only device could not be saved using the “Save As…” menu item.
Changing the scaling of the Gantt chart by dragging within the time ruler could lead to wrong results.
The “Report” button did not work correctly if the inspector was shown in a separate window.
Projects containing approved budgets entered as percentages did not calculate all budget values immediately after opening.
The leveling orders of the “Level Selection” and “Level All” commands did not match.
Properties of linked projects were not updated in the containing project under all circumstances.
Base costs were not always copied when activities were dragged to the library.
The description of report templates could be edited.
If the option “Warn before accepting changes” was set in iCal Publishing, the sync could not complete in all cases.
When deleting dependencies between activities, Merlin could crash.
Improved export of resources of linked projects to MS Project.
Recurring events from iCal calendars were not imported properly.
Under some circumstances, copy & paste between projects could lead to an exception.
Completed activities were not always exported correctly to MS Project via XML.

Resolved Issues in Merlin Web
Under some circumstances Merlin Web did not allow structure changing actions.
The structural lock symbol was not working correctly under all circumstances.
Updated column sets (and other configurations) could not be accessed directly in Merlin Web.
The page could jump in the browser when selecting data to edit.
Clearing the contents of a duration field produced a duration of “0 seconds”.
On client machines without the font “Lucida Sans”, the display of assignments did not fall back to using “Verdana”.
Gantt labels containing dates could be wrongly formatted.
