How to Spot Fake Movies in this Section

Check how many posts the user has made and when he/she registered.

If you compare these two users, the user with the more time registered and the more posts will more likely have real uploads. If the user just joined last month and already has 90 posts, smells kinda suspicious.

Go to the Internet Movie Database and check when the movie was/will been released. Make sure to press the "See more" button to make sure that the movie hasn't already been released in another country. Because if it has, there is a high chance that the movie is not fake.

When you click the "See more" button you will see this. So use logic to check if the movie has been released anywhere in the world yet. If the movie hasn't been released anywhere, then most likely it will be fake. There is a very small chance that a movie theater employee got his/her hands on the movie before hand and burned a copy.

Check what file sharing site is used for the uploads. If the movie has been uploaded to a file sharing site such as HotFile, Deposit Files, or Storage.To then there is a chance it is fake. The reason is that these file sharing sites pay the users big money for downloads. Spammers will want money so they upload their fakes to these sites to get poor downloaders, you, to download their files and the spammers will get the money.

Check the title of thread. If the thread title is just the name of the movie and the year it looks suspicious. Real uploaders will want to advertise who upload the movie so their thread titles will have the name of the group who uploaded the movies. If you made something or got something wouldn't you want to advertise that you got the file? Same goes for the movie uploaders

For example you will see that there are uploads from KiNGDOM, DiAMOND, VoMiT, etc. and there are also uploads without a group name. If the title has a group name like the 5 bottom threads then there is a greater chance of it being real. But take the first thread for example, it just has the Title and the year it was released and the type of video it is. These are the uploads that are more likely to be fake.

The movie looks good but the screenshots look too good to be true. Go to google and search the HD trailer for the movie. Watch the entire trailer and pay close attention. People will take screenshots from the HD trailer and post them, so if the screenshot is taken from the trailer there is a higher chance that the upload is fake.

If you still have your doubts about the download and don't want to waste your time downloading all the files, download the first part and unzip it. Using VLC, open the first part of the movie and watch it to see how the audio and video quality of the movie is. If you are satisfied, then download the rest of the parts.

button at the bottom of the post. Moderators will delete the thread and ban the user to prevent other users from downloading a fake movie.
