[RESOLVED] Quick Reply Activation - Page 2

I not sure I understand, there didn't seem to be a problem... at least one that ppl complained about. there is no visible display as to what post a user is replying too anyway. It's sequencial. Even If I replay to the first post, i'm still at the bottom and there is no visible message telling me that I replied to post #1.

And the majority of the ppl posting to a certain post will use the quote reply don't you think? Either way the newest post is at the bottom with no visible notation of what post was replied to. It was auto-activated less than 5 days ago, and I assume was like that from the beginning.

Don't get me wrong mecho... i know this is your baby...and i'm just a peon in a sea of thousands... I thought it was very fine the way it was. You wanted to see what would happen... Here it is.

Again I pose the question: What sense does it make to have a Quick Reply box that you have to click to activate ever time you use it?

I'm sorry. I've had a bad week. I'm laid-off from my job, and I'm a little pissed. I don't mean to take it out on you. No harm intended. I won't complain any further. thank you.

ahhh, but i am complaining.. i've made like 1,300 posts so far this month, and over 1,400 last month.. and that's not including all the PM's that i've made and replied to that come along with being a mod and the t-mod leader.. that's alot of extra clicking that i'm going to have to do now.. and i like to think that at least around here i'm a little more than a just another peon..

please mecho, there has to be a way to change it back..
