Post Removal/Deletion

I was wondering if it could be set up so that we the members could remove our own dead posts instead of having the Mods or Admin do it..
maybe set so we had to have 100 or more posts before we could do this ..or started so many threads..
I think it would make it easier for the Mods to do their job..
Just a thought but figured why not ask..

no problem phillia I just figured we could help out a little .
it could be changed to binned instead of deleted..
but if no downloads for 90 days then the upload to RS is deleted by them
if noone has DL in that time then the post should be binned or re uploaded for anyone that would like the programs or whatever it was..
If this is not okay with everyone else then things can stay as they are and we won't be able to police our own threads..no problem for me..Just trying to help..

I really don't see the reason why a user would want to delete his own post...

But apart from that, it not so rare when members come to me and complain about other users comments and posts..

You see if members had that option it would have been difficult to resolve these issues..

Not to mention the fact that we don't delete posts we bin them. And having users deleting their posts will totally disrupt the board...

Besides, if the links in your post die you can always report them to remove them!

The thing is that the majority of the posts we have here are also shared in other places as well...
So, they get to be downloaded one way or another..

Now if you wanna help out with dead links, you can either report them or maybe joining the reporters team...?
