go past full-page ads

hi all, i'm mostly a well-appreciative downloader here, thanks for all the wonderful files!

i'm wondering about the full-page ads that often appear on a page -- i've seen this sort of advertising before, which has popped up recently, more and more now. rather than small pop-up ads that you can close, these FULL-page ads refuse to go away. it confuses me because i've seen them on megaupload and the like, and now mechodownload, but i can't figure out how to click past them or get rid of them aside from refreshing the page over again! thankfully, this works with MD, but with some other websites, i'll refresh & the ad will just load AGAIN... so i can't ever get past them. ???

does anybody have any suggestions, or am i missing something? i also suspect Camino, my web browser, might be blocking the "x" (close) button somehow, but i'm not sure. i just thought i'd ask, since mechodownload also uses these ads, and perhaps many of you may be familiar with the ad type. thank you so much in advance!

yes the ads are relentless at times, but the help pay for the site. Might I suggest do a search here for Ad Muncher. it's a tiny but powerful ad block that uses little resources. It can be found at MechoDownload. Good luck.

oh, i wasn't asking for a way to get rid of the ads completely, i just wondered if there was some "close" button that i was missing. i definitely understand that the ads help pay for the site and wouldn't want to negate that income.

use firefox with the adblock plus extension..

All of the ads that come in between pages have a skip button that appears at the top right hand corner, if don't know if it doesn't load for you or not, but you should see it, it says Skip.
