Linkchecker Bot

I think Mechodownload should have a link checker bot.

Alot of these sites have started using this to really keep their content fresh.

Yeah we have moderators that do this, but they dont go prowling around for dead links.

They either get reported or mods come across them accidently.

I think this would be a really nice feature. And the Linkchecker bot will also display what time and date it checked the link in the thread.

So it would be like:

Link checked by Linkcheckbot at xx:xx [AM/PM] on XX/XX/XXX

and dead links would automatically get reported.

What are your opinions?

yes i do go around looking for dead links, and i know that phillia does too..
and i believe that Mecho is already thinking about using a linkchecker..

Is there for vb Forums too
