How to make DVD quality movies

does anyone know how to make movies like the DVD -Quality ones but before the movie come out on DVD? Is there any kind of software that the people use to do this? Also is there a DVD burning program which also processes the images and then burns it?

dvd quality before the dvd comes out, ah no.. that's why i always wait for the dvd rip before i will download a movie..

@m1o1e1, well, thats a good idea. But I was just wanted to know if there was a way to do it yourself, so that you don't have to wait a long 6 months or so and then forget the name of the movie, lol
