why does my computer say stack overflow at line: 0

hi
i'm faceing a big problem peoble
the problem is this message
stack overflow at line: 0

and i don't know what shall i do
my pc became more slowley and internet pages becames so so so so slowley
and i setup another version of Windows and the problem is the same
when i try 2 open a new page it told me the stack overflow at line: 0 !!!!!
the only thing i remember that i was installed the hotspot shield ( that program 2 change the pc IP ) and from this day the problems starts !!
i Uninstalled it and clear Regestery files and even change the windows and nothing happend
now i almost can't open any internet page and really wanna ur hand 2 ace this problem
so plz help

I have the same problem. Only happens when I come here. I found that something here attempts to open 9 different local ports and go into a close-wait on all to your ip port 80! Each time ya click on the stack overflow img another port is opened. This causing the stack overflow. You must go to your task mgr and find the pid that is being used and stop the process. I use a program... "active ports" and can moniter or kill the process. I am going to check this further and will re post.

Just what are you guys up to on this site? Here is the reason for the stack overflow. Why do you need to access 12 ports when one comes to your site?
This happens even if I do not login. A good answer is requested!

yep , me2 have the same problem with Ie but , i suggus u to dont use ie , and , use firefox... because i dont recieve it , when i use firefox.

I'm getting the samethng happening to me too, stack overflow line 0. Is that the only solution using a different browser instead of IE.
