Need Help with Subtitles.

Hi You'll is there any help out there. I would like to take subtitles out of a DVD. I'm sure enjoying Mecho.......... Thanks for all the help that is out there. I feel I'm learning alot.

well need some details about what you actually mean ...
if you are trying a DVD disk , you can turn off the subtitles from the application that you use for watching DVDs like PowerDVD or Media Player
if you want to rip Dvds with no subs , you can turn this off too from the app that you are using for ripping.

what actually do you want to do ? if just watching , then tell the application that you use and I will give you more detailed directions.

I think he means he wants to take the subtitles from within the movie and have thm in a file to use them somewhere else, is that right bistar237?let us know so that we can help you

Hi first of all

if you mean you have not subtiltile of the movie [kind of divx(xvid)], you should go to sites like :

and download your disired little size movie subtitle.The best player
to play movies with subtitle is Kmplayer(&also the stongest player in the world),If you haven't I strogly recommend you to download or buy it.

If you mean you have a DVD with subtitle but you don't know how to use it,I'll tel you the sample process for 2 programs:
1-powerDVD :just play movie(open dvd) ,then right-click on the powerDVD screen,move arrow to select subtitle ,and you've done it.
2-KMplayer:open dvd folder,right-click on the Kmplayer screen ,move arrow to subtitle the select load subtiltle and address the location of subtitle file.(especially for .Avi movies)

Also if you mean how you can save the subtitle of one movie ,again I suggest using Kmplayer ,go to subtitle then merge/save as ,you know the rest.
