XP activation

I trying to activate win xp using the post I found on your website,
posted by lanka (thank you).
After performing all the sequence of the regedit and restarting I got a message that it is
"Incorrect Product Key".
What it can be?

one thing is u must be brief in explaining ur need. u haven't mentioned which one u got problem with and what version it is. and ur saying ur performed sequence of regedit for this after u have installed ur fresh xp u must boot it in safemode not just like applying regedit in normal boot. sure it will show an invalid key for this u must again have to install it and this time don't forget to boot it in safemode then apply all reg keys and follow the nfo info which it will mention how to do that. hope this might help u
