Custom Home Builder/Floorplan software

Hey everyone.

I would appreciate if someone could get me a software that i can design my own house. First maybe starting with the floorplan then a 3-D model. I am tryin to design my dad's future house this year and i would like a software to customize our house since we are building it. Just a software that is good and can create the type of home we are planning on building. 1 story in the mountains. 2500 sqaure foot. open floorplan. high cielings. 3 car garage and a 650 sqft room above the garage

and no i dont wanna do this in the sims game. autocad can be used easily for floor plan but i would prefer a 3-d program

Or you can try AutoCAD 2008, I have a teacher who is an architect, and he used that to make his house also!
