I politely and respectively post my findings, review and opinions, specially about all great and new ESS directly to Eset Team.
Here are the full text entries about it, and their polite answer about mine concerns:
Referer/Referrer blocking:
On MSWinXPSp2 I install ESS 3.0.563 32bit TRIAL & than run full Win Update - some 90 Updates: MS NET Frameworks + IE7 + WMP11..
No problems reviled, except one IE "not responding" issue at Framework 2.0 install, but all Update process finished OK till end, with finally asking PC restart, but IE was still frozen at that time. All this didn't reviled any other problem, and after restart, everything was OK.
I will not even tell you how long I wait for great Software like yours ESS now, and that I'm really delighted that it's officially finished & released for the global IT market.

Last 4 days I test ESS & noticed his great Firewall. PC Flank & some other tests was 100% passed, except referrals blocking in Web Browser test.
I'm aware that this isn't totally Firewall, but Net browser issue, but, here are 3 figures:
a) IE6/7 still holding at least 65% of market (same IE doesn't have referrer blocking option at all)
b) PC Flank test is merit & "state" of his own with huge market respect over years
c) Other well known IT Sec. corps integrate referrer blocking in their IT Sec. software, also for years by now, e.g. Symantec NIS, Agnitum Outpost Firewall Pro, Kaspersky, ZoneAlarm Pro..
Don't get me wrong, I'm still delighted with ESS, but, hate the idea to wait IE8, perhaps with referrer blocking support.
On other hand, I install "IE7Pro" & try to use its referrer blocking Plug-in:

Someone will say now, use decent browser like Firefox which has referrer blocking, but it doesn't support webpage .mht savings, except, again with some 3rd part eventual plug-in, which is again commercial/not free.
This is wery user inconvenient & referring option is really IT Sec. issue & we cannot say otherwise today, where so many webpages use our cookies & referrers for Spyware & attack our privacy.
Do you have any suggestions about 3rd party Software which offer referrer blocking & is compatible with IE7 & ESS usings?
Is there a chance that I block referrers as an option in ESS, which I didn't noticed in my 4 days preview testings of it?
Is there a way that you took my feedback consideration in more serious thoughts about putting this option in first future ESS vers.?
With ESS I finally thought that all problems with IT Sec. will be finally & ultimate gone with one great product.
Believe me, for really long time, I decide to personally buy & mass recommend IT Security Software that earn enough respect & remarks of mine own, and I work on IT Sec. field for 12 years by now (19 with comps generally).
Well, ESS earn best mark here ever from me, but I really need that referrer block opt. in it.
That is one reason why I use Agnitum Outpost Firewall Pro for 4 years till ESS finally comes on market now.
People desperately, finally, really need & deserve one IT sec. solution for all problems comes with it.
Well, blocking referrers as option, weather Web browser support it or not, is still desirable & simply cannot bypass object & merit that just still need to be a part of any Sec. Suite.
You did the great job with ESS, "the cherry on top" will be this referrer block option in it.
To simply wait that IE8 will have finally referrer block or (still &
ly) not, and buy now ESS, which I strongly urge to do my self personally, is simply to risky now for me, but I really like the ESS. I like it like the product that is finally one decent solution for IT Security after all & ever.
So' about blocking referrer as an ESS option - don't listen to me, listen to users.
At the end, I just want, once more to say - Thank you really for ESS!

Referral blocking is, as you state, purely a browser issue. ESET Smart Security will handle these only if the traffic itself is detected as malicious, or comes from a known or obvious spoof address.
Further functionality in this area may be developed in the future, but at this time it is not covered by ESET Smart Security. I share your concern about these kinds of attacks, but they deviate from what is considered an actual malicious attack, and therefore is not a priority from an anti-malware standpoint.

So', it is not the question why you shouldn't use your Zebra AV, it is question why you basically should, because there are certainly available mass IT Security products that can so easily beat some almost no-named AV on the global IT market...
I am not experienced in your Zebra AV, but, when I want to find some really good AV or any similar, I see the undepended meritors for that, as I all described in my upper text, here in the post!
On other words, when Zebra AV will be available at least as an opinion on those mentioned undepended meritors and testers that I described, than use it, but use it, depending of their opinion about Zebra AV, because this is the most surest way in the World... - Why? Well, their are all
undepended testers, and they are very smart, have many test PCs, labs, money to test all kind of things... :-)
