how do I merge parts?

I already have 1 joiner. I cant remember what it's called... like "hjsplitter" or something.
but, it only joins the file type (.001, .002, .003, etc.).
I need something that will join the file type (.part1, .part2, .part3, etc.).

can someone help me find the right joiner to merge the right file types?

what is the extension for the files?
it sounds to me like .rar files, in which case you'll need winrar to join them..

For part1 part2 etc .rar the only thing you've got to do is right click on any of those parts and choose the extract to from the menu, and all the parts will be extracted in a folder.
