dvd converting to cd.

I know that there's software that will allow me to burn a dvd on a cd, or 2 cd's. I just dont know what it's called.

Magic DVD Ripper,GoldLeo DVD Ripper ,SAGA DVD Ripper, 1st DVD Ripper ...anyway U searching some kind of DVD Rippers...

so, the ripper will do the converting?
and what file type will I have to convert it to?
and will that play on dvd players?
or do I just change the compression of the ripping process?

I think the ripper will rip the DVD first..and then convert...unless you don't want to RIP the DVD...let us know

Magicbit DVD to DivX Converter should be fine and U can convert him to .avi formats,they will work if your player support divix ...Most of these Rippers have converting funcion(I think all of them have, not shure, but these have), also u can reed some of functions here:

You might try: Shark Video Converter Gold v6.4.1.8 it will convert it to .avi format and it is fast!!

Once you get use to working with .avi if you download many DVDs you will find that most are .avi format so you are ready to go!!
