ok i got a lap top its a dell ins. 2500 for free now its got a virus that i cant delete or remove my anti virus says that the virus is to infected to clean any one got a clue on how to get rid of this sucker or how to get a system restore disc to bring it back to factory settings please help

Well you can use another anti virus maybe that would help.
We've got plenty of them, try eset nod32

U can always reinstall windows, and if u have drivers for MotherBoard and driver card it's best solution...

Do you know the name of the virus?
What problems does the virus cause?
Can you boot to Safe Mode?
Do you have the System Restore Disk from Dell?
If all else fails, format the disk and reinstall the OS and drivers.

Try Kaspersky anti virus. Believe it or not, it's being been used by most hackers.

I'm in the same boat as you! Multiple viruses and to fix them all is far over my head. Formating is the road I'm going to take. It doesn't seem like it will be too horribly difficult and the end result seems far better too!

what you should do is get your hands on "HIRENS BOOT CD 9.3" i think thats the latest updater.

burn it the ISO into a cd, and boot your computer off the CD-ROM and use the antivirus that it has there which is very good at cleaning your pc from those are top get virus.

just follow the steps they are very simple, and see if that works for you.
