Can't install MPKG, or PKG?? on my mac

Can't install MPKG, or PKG?? on my mac

I've went to multiple places but nothing gives me a solution. I currently can't install anything that has the extension MPKG, or PKG that includes programs like "Flip4mac", Gametap and a bunch of other programs.

Even if I rid of the extension it makes a folder which doesn't let me install any software??, sometimes I just can't unpackage things either (like the limewire beta). If anyone has a solution please help.
