NETGEAR Modem Problem help!!!

NETGEAR during installation

at end i dont know what is this :

Enter Your ADSL Settings

This information is available from your telphone company or ADSL service provider.

Multiplexing Method LLC BASED OR VC BASED
VPI ( 0 to 255 )
VCI ( 32 to 65535 )

and then i dont put anything there i just hit enter and they ask for ip and then again i hit enter ...

then a big error appears > CANNOT CONNECT TO INTERNET

AND I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW
HELP!!

did your isp not give you an installation disc with it?
if not then you'll most likely have to phone them and get them to help you set it up..

yes i have installation cd but i dont know how to install properly
some of them functions i dont know how to use

ex - VC BASED OR LLC BASED i dont know what is this
during installation they ask about VC BASED OR LLC BASED

do i have to call ?

You'll have to call you Internet Service Provider Tech Support. They will help you set up your modem. This should be common practice with any new ISP installation.
