Help on Internet Download Manager

Hi to all,
See I have IDM and it doesn't work, the crack doesn't work, it always tell me what many days I have to register the program and when I'm going to download something it makes the normal download I mean IDM doesn't pop up the window if you wish to download this file.....

I have Firefox 2, I can't have Firefox 3 because I have Kaspersky 2009 and some people says Firefox 3 crashes with Kaspersky 2009 installed ( I have the internet security)

Help me Please,

try to uninstall it & install again with a proper crack, it must work you can find lots of version here, just do a search

I've done that several times and nothing....
Kaspersky detects a Trojan on several cracks so i don't know if that's what happening.
Can you give me a tutorial on cracks because to be honest I really don't know how to use them.
