dudeio try this go to start > search > all files and folders > then type regedit and see if that finds anything.

I'm just saying now in case you didn't know. It only shuts down when I run specific games or programs. Like Dragon Age but I used to be able to run it though on this very same computer

maybe you need a differant or new graphics card and more memory in your computer
