reformat vista to xp
dear sir,
i am using acer pc model aspire m5641.installed vista.i want to re install with xp.can i do it? how? thank you. |

First of all u need to reformat ur pc using Hiren BootCD.

If you have an xp disc already,stick it in your drive ,restart straight away and when the boot screen comes up,keep pressing F8 and that will give you the option to boot from your xp disc.
Their is no need to use any other progarms to fomat your pc as your xp disc will give you that option. It will wipe of vista and put xp on your system,simple as that. If you dont have a disc,use you credit card and buy xp of microsoft website,thay will send you an original disc with key to activate it. Iv,e done it a few times,easy. |

as joebloggs has mentioned you will have to have an xp disk and reboot computer and leave it load from cd then go through the prompts and wipe your hard drive and then it will load your windows xp on. make sure you have a key to use
