internet connection help

every time i search for wireless connection .. i found the connection without pass then connect to it .. said connected successfully .. sometimes it open some sites but after a while its stop and say there is no net gateway !!!
so how to find this gateway in win vista .. ??
many times i reset connection from the (!) between connection and pc from the troubleshot and there is nothing happen ..
i hope u get what i meant to say ..

ya .. but after i know the default gateway .. how to connect to it to access to the internet beside its said that im connected as i told be4 ??
i dont know if that correct or not .. i copy this ip to the LAN setting in the (use automatic confi .. ) ?? or what ??
