U$pgrading XP to windows 7 versions ...HELP

I would like to know if upgrading my Windows XP OS to any of the Windows 7 systems available on this board will completely wipe my HD and overwrite it?

Will it simply upgrade my existing XP system, leaving all my files, pictures, vids, and programs alone??, or will I have to start from scratch and reinstall all my drivers, programs, and everything else?

Thank you for any help ..

Direct upgrade XP to 7 is not possible.
Driver's not compatible and you can simply download new driver about your hardware.
Do you want install 7 64bit? I racommed you!
Download program for 64bit O.S. It's more performance

Migrating from Windows XP to Windows 7?

I suggest you check out this link for a basic description of the process:

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/help/upgrading-from-windows-xp-to-windows-7
You will get a short movie, needed hardware and software, suggestions about choosing 32-bit or 64-bit, and step-by-step instructions.

Plan on an afternoon and at least one pot of coffee. Pain pills are optional.

Good luck!
