how to fix windows vista mouse problems

Everytime I try to go on the internet, it freezes up and never moves. then when I move at the screensaver, it glitches. I used a different OS cd(everex) to boot it when when it crashed and never worked.Is there a way that I can fix that or is there a way i can get my windows xp back(before i downloaded vista).

Hi 123king first save any important information on cd or flash card and use the recovery or restore disc(s) that came with your computer.
