One year has passed since the day I opened this forum and it passed so fast
I can't still believe that in only a year we could reach to a forum like this, which would be impossible without all your help and support
In the beginning I was just curious about forum, so I installed this forum to test and see how a forum works. I thought that I'd just make a portal of it, but then when I saw all the positiv feedbacks I got from my old users (my
weblog's users), I decided to continue working on the forum.
Sifeet (My GirlFriend and Best Friend) helped me a lot during all this time, and I'm sure it would be impossible for me to make it without her. Of course there are many others who helped a lot like :

m1o1e1 and other stuff ( Mod and Tmods , Uploaders , Reporters ) .
And it's a matter of course that the support from
DONATORS has kept the forum alive until now. and the great thing is that some of them not only Donate but also help staff to make the site work like helping users , uploading , reporting and .... . i dont want to say any Names bcoz i'm afraid i might forget to mention some of them but i'm pretty sure that u know all of them ...
So what I'm trying to say is that without the support I get from all freinds during this time, the forum wouldn't and won't survive. I'd like to thank all these people and also apologize to those whom I forget to mention here.
I think the forum has had quite good progress in only a year. The forum is kind of mature and we have many good and active users in a friendly enviroment.
Until today we've had :
31,210 users , 25,574 threads , 63,626 Posts ! ( without Binned threads )

okkk , let me tell u about some future plans in this coming year ( 4 mechodownload ) :
- In the begining, the forum was 100% open for all guests. But today guests can only see some certain sections in which they can only see the first posts, not the replies. I think it's time now to change this and not allow guests to see the forum at all for a while. (bymechodownload section would still be open for all though) .This would of course decrease the number of online users but it will certainly help the board grow bigger .
(This change is going to be made in a few days and depending the result we might change it somehow.)
- In the begining the advertisements were for everyone. Now Staff and Donators do not see ads anymore. But I think I can deactive ads for the active users too now. An active user = a user with at least 500 posts. (This is going to be done in few days)
- Until today it was only the Top-poster who received a rapidshare account each month, but from now on we are also going to have a Top-reporter each month who is also going to get a rapidshare account. I'm also trying to change the Top-poster to Top-threader
. ( u can find the details about Top Reporter in a topic that we will make soon )
- The other news is that I'm trying to move the forum to an own server (dedicated server) at the end of the next month ( Hopefully ) . You will easily notice an increase in the speed of the site and this will make our board stronger than ever! I really hope that we can still get your support for this
- The biggest news is that u can see Mechodownload's portal too ( no more redirect from mechodownload.com to mechodownload.com/forum ) i really worked hard on it to make it ready for today . i think it is quite oki hope u will like it too . u can see it simply enter to site via this link > www.mechodownload.com
Our goal is to make this forum to one of the largest forums, hope you help us as you always do inorder to reach to this goal
