Dear citizens of MechoDownload !!!

First of all, we want to thank people who have participated in this month’s donation. This Month’s Donation indicates that Mechodownload Team has done a great job and users are satisfied with it.

From last month that we moved the forum to a new server with more capabilities and have removed 80% of advertisements (Including Pop-Ups and Pop-Under), number of donations and the amount of it increased. This shows that Users are happy and satisfied with it, we are also happy with it. With the new Server and the support from users we see that the forum is growing day by day and it’s becoming more popular.

As you’re aware, our goal is 300$ per month with we pay for the new server. This month we reach 395$. We have passed our goal and we want to spend this money in way for forum’s benefit.

Our First thought is simply this:
instead of giving a RapidShare account to a top poster of the month, we decided to give 5 RapidShare accounts to 5 Regular User-Non Staff Top Poster of month. Here u can see the result and we really hope that u become one of them

Our Second thought is to improve the speed of the site:
Right now our server has 2GB of RAM, in order to improve the speed we have to upgrade our server to 4GB of RAM. The expense of upgrading the RAM is 40$ per month, so we could use the remaining of our goal amount to upgrade our server. At the time we have a great speed and of course when it is upgraded to 4GB it would have a SPEED OF LIGHT I mean that the Upgrade of the RAM is not really necessary but when we can afford it , Why Not !
By the way we are not sure At the moment that the donation remains steady as this month (More than 300$), so we decided to just sit and see how the future of our donation will be, so we could take a step with ease of mind.

Also , Let Me Say Something here:
If We Want To Upgrade Is Not Because We Want Just Use The Money , Its Because A Fastest Site(forum) Like The Other Warez Forums That Loads In 1 sec , And Its True , If We Want To Be A Proof Forum We Need To Do It , But The Matter Is That Its Not The Time To Do That.. Anyways Mecho Know Better Than Us WHEN and How Do It.

i would like to think, and to hope, that this also has to do with the site starting to feel more like a comunity, as more members are getting to be long term members, and not just stopping by to grab 1 thing and then never coming back..

4GB is a good idea, but along with the others, I don't think it is necessary...We could use it for next month...and the 5 RS account are a great idea!
