This is the latest update to the Network Addon Mod (NAM) for your Simcity4/Rush Hour game. This modifies the game in substantial ways, and is an attempt to improve in some cases the realism of the simulation, as well as correct bugs in other instances. This mod is a must-have to fully enhance your city networks. Read the included Readme.html in the download for a full list of modifications and updates.
This latest version is the January 2007 Update, which includes:
Diagonal Streets plugin has been enhanced. There are now some additional puzzle pieces to be used on sloped terrains to avoid flattening. Furthermore, there are a few helper pieces which allow you to drag other networks over it to build intersections.
All the game effects on the ped mall puzzle pieces have been removed again because ped malls had acted like a cheat. The generation of crowds has also been removed because it forced older computers to be very slow.
Many cosmetic issues have been done. Some raised puzzle pieces have been remodelled, and the one-way bridges come with one-way textures now.
A set of puzzle pieces to build commute rail tunnels has been added. You may use the default Maxis railway station to handle the traffic switching or (may be) any upcoming underground commute rail station.
European-style lateral highway exits and another one for raised roads have been added.
The custom bridges MOD became part of the NAM. You may choose different new styles of bridges for the common networks.
NAM readme updated to a more convenient layout. Some screenshots illustrate the usage of puzzle pieces and roundabouts.
This mod increases the depth to which pipes and subways can be built, allowing much easier placement up cliffs and steep terrain.The x2 version is good for almost all situations, if you zigzag networks up cliffs steeper than 200ft/tile; x3 and Radical versions are also included.See the Readme for more details.
Street Cul-de-sac Mod :
This mod changes the standard street ends into cul-de-sacs or circular endings. It changes the textures, paths, and props that are part of the traditional street end.Please read the readme file. It contains important usage instructions.

[Note] The Sims 2 Seasons crack is the only crack you need to run if you want to install all of the expansion packs. Other cracks are included if you choose to only install certain expansion packs. Please note that for the cracks to work properly, you have to install every expansion pack leading up to the one you want and then run the corresponding crack. For example, if you want the Open for Business pack, you would have to install #1 The Sims 2, #2 University, #3 Nightlife, #4 Open for Business, and then run the Open for Business crack.
[Note 2] The Blade cracks currently do not work with Leopard. I was able to patch the app for Seasons in Tiger and transfer it over to Leopard without any problems. I, however, did not do it for the other expansion packs so if you are a Leopard user, either install all the expansion packs or none at all and use the cracked apps provided for The Sims 2 or The Sims 2 Seasons. If you have trouble overwriting the existing app with the cracked app, try changing the permissions on "The Sims" folder and/or copying the cracked app to another folder before dragging over to "The Sims" folder. These instructions will be updated when the kinks are worked out and/or a solution is found.

The Sims 2 is the sequel to the most popular game of all time. It is a virtual dolls' house, set in a neighborhood which you can create and modify as much as you like. With Sims 2, your sims can grow from babyhood to old age, get married, have children of their own and produce complicated extended families.
The aim of The Sims 2 is to make your sims life as good as possible by fulfilling their wants and avoiding their fears. Not only will this improve their enjoyment of life, it also makes them live longer, so the more you acheive in their lives, the more time they have to acheive even more. However, sims are not invincible, they will eventually die, so the goal is to acheive as much in the time you have as possible.
The base game has five life stages: baby, toddler, child, teenager, adult, and elder. University adds a sixth life stage, young adult. This is an optional stage, which only happens if you send your sim to university. However, the advantages of doing so mean that, in reality, opting out is an unwise choice.
If your sim has grown up from a previous life stage (if they were created as a toddler, child or teenager or born as a baby) you will have had the opportunity to teach them some basic skills and gain them scholarship already. You can get scholarships for a wide range of things, from maxing out skill areas to being abducted by aliens, up to a total of $14000 (where $ is actually simelonians). If you create them as a young adult, however, you only have $500, so you're unlikely to start anywhere other than the dorms.
Dorms is a good place to start anyway, as they generally have everything you could possibly need and there are loads of other people there to make friends with. You can choose your dorm size, from a little one with four rooms to the biggest one, which has twenty. Depending on what you want to do, the size can be important. If your sim is a popularity aspiration, you should go for a larger dorm for the larger freindship possibilities, if they're the studious type, the smallest dorm may be better. They are all equipped relative to their size, o the largest dorm has a huge communal area whilst the smallest has a much smaller one. They are also staffed, so you don't need to cook whilst in dorms, but you will need to clean up after your messier neighbors.
The next task when you move in is to choose your subject. You don't actually need to do this until the end of your junior year, but the earlier you choose, the longer you canspend building the relevant skills. The majors are Art, Philosophy,Biology, Drama, Economics, History, Literature, Mathematics, Physics, Political Sciene and Philosophy. The course names are amusing at times, so I won't spoil the joke for you.
You have to build you skills in order to be able to get the highest grades, some skills are needed just to pass each semester. Choosing the right course will give you a really good foundation for your future career.
After a couple of terms, you might decide that you want to leave the dorms. There are two ways t do this, one is to move your sim out of the dorm and into their own lot, where you can build them a house as you would normally. The other option is to move in with someone already on the campus. This can be either an ordinary house, which is easy enough to do, or a greek house, which is quite hard.
After working your way through all eight semesters (which can get a bit dull, throw some parties to liven it up a bit), your sim will come out the other end with a diploma and a GPA. If their Grade Point Average is above 3.8 (out of 4) they will graduate with honours, which will fulfill a big want for any sim. You now have a couple of days to throw more parties, gain a few more skills or hitch up with the cute girl from the sorority, or you can go straight back into the real world.
There are 125+ new items to play with, most of them university related, but some are useful outside as well, like the new stove and the coffee bar. Other new features include new careers, additional want spaces as you go through university and "lifetime wants", which are hard to acheive but well worth the work. These can be anything from "Have 20 simultaneous best friends" to "Marry off 3 children" or "Become Mayor", depending on their aspiration. Once you acheive one of these wants, you will get 25000 aspiration points, 10000 influence points (see below) and lifetime platinum mood.
Your sims can now influence people. The mroe friends they have, the more potential influence they have, however, influenceing people costs, and you can oonly get influence by fulfilling wants. It's all tied in together.
Sims 2 is one of the most popular games of all time, and with good reason. University adds another level of gameplay, if not another dimension. It's worth getting,even just for the extra features, but the fun that can be had at university is unmissable.
Create the perfect pet for your Sims to train, play with, and love throughout a lifetime. Pick everything from their paws to their personality. Choose from dozensof popular dog and cat breeds like Schnauzer and Siamese. Or create a unique cat or dog by modifying their features and body type. Your Sims can teach their pets tricks, take them for a romp in the park to meet other furry friends, or buy them toys, beds, and much more. But pets have minds of their own-so expect the unexpected!
