But a question, how to use the license?

dragndrop the maxwellfolder to your applicationsfolder.
just copy the license.dat in that main maxwell folder (where the applications maxwellstudio, -server, -render, materialeditor,... are).
this should do it.
if not, start maxwellstudio and locate the file via help-licensefile..
have fun!
