Thank you very much. Now I have no more error with unrar x. But the dmg includes an error so that I must cancel the validation of the dmg. But: I can install vue 6.0 and the extras. The updater to version 6.10 is corrupt. No problem...

Just tried to install it and I have issues when it verfies the DMG file. It unrars just fine but it won't mount correctly. Sorry man.

Same here, I got check sum error a couple of times.

So when you double click the dmg, click 'skip' verifying.
Then everything will open up nicely.

Thanks for the prog. Followed the instruction step by step and still can't activate. Always got "Bad activation number Please use the correct activation number written in the registration email."

Plus the keygen has Trojan Horse.

Any idea to solve this? Thanx

Success! Use our image here which is Mac/PC. drag the image onto toast under Copy>image file and mount it. then install the PC version first on your partition of Windows.

I was able to install and sucessfully activate using VPC.

1. Run the Keygen under VPC. Click the Serial Number button ONCE. This will generate a Serial Number and a RenderCow Serial.

2a. Install the PC version of VUE 6 onto the VPC Windows partition. NOTE: Windows didn't like the mounted .dmg I had. Even though it had both the Mac and PC installer files on it, it was a Mac formatted volume, so the PC installers wouldn't launch (for me). What I did was mount the .dmg and then create a new Mac/PC disk image using Toast. I dragged the mounted Vue 6 Install volume over to the Toast Mac & PC window and then saved as a disk image--> FIle: Save As Disc Image. I then mounted the new disc image using Option Click--> Mount It. This opened both a Mac and a PC volume. Windows was then able to see the volume and the executables worked.

2b. When Prompted by the Vue installer to enter the serial, copy the number from the Serial Number field of the Keygen:

i.e. VUE6INF-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXX-XXX

NOTE: The first part (VUE6INF) is already entered automatically, so be sure to only copy the part after that. Paste all the numbers following VUE6INF- into the serial field. Continue with the install.

3. Launch the newly installed Vue 6 under Windows, You will be prompted to activate the program. Choose ACTIVATE LATER. The program will launch. After launch QUIT the program. You will find a "Vue 6 Infinite.reg" file has been created in your C:Windows directory. Search for the file if you can't find it.

4. After locating the Vue 6 Infinite.reg file, open it with NotePad. You will see an entry for "MacAddress:XXXXXXXXXXXX". Make sure there are no (colons) in the Mac Address when entering. This is your Ethernet ID. This address may differ from the MacAddress of your Mac partition. You will need to find the correct address for the Mac. More on this in a bit.

5. Now you can install the Mac version of Vue 6. When prompted, enter the exact same Serial you used to serialize the PC version. After installing, launch Vue 6. When prompted to activate choose ACTIVATE LATER. The app will continue launching. Once it it launched, QUIT the app, Locate the newly created Vue 6 Infinite.reg file in the Users/Shared folder. Open it with TextEdit. Locate the MacAddress:XXXXXXXXXXXX listing and COPY the numbers/letters--this is your Mac's Ethernet ID.

6. Switch back over to VPC and the Vue 6 Infinite.reg which is open in NotePad. Replace the PC's Ethernet ID numbers with the ones you just copied. (Paste over them. Save the altered Vue 6 Infinite.reg file and QUIT NotePad.

7. Switch to the the still open Keygen and click the Activation code Button. This generates your activation code:

i.e. ACT-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXX-XXX-NOD-VUE6INF

Switch back to the Mac and launch the Mac version of Vue 6. You will be prompted again to enter an activation code. Enter the newly generated Activation Code from the Keygen.

NOTE: The beginning (ACT-) and end (NOD-VUE6INF) of the code is automatically entered, so you just need to enter the numbers/letters in between. Once all the numbers are entered, click Activate. If you've done everything right, you should see a congratulations dialogue and the program should launch OK.

BTW, I was never prompted to enter a serial number for RenderCow. You might want to take note of the generated number from the Keygen in case you need it later.

Darn, this is the step I use. Did you have the luck getting it running? I am using parallel desktop and I followed that process step by step. Still no luck for me to get it activated.

I'll try using my old VPC on my G4 to install the PC version and crack and see how it goes.

Anyone with success activating, needs some lights here. Thanks.
