Classic 2D Sonic the Hedgehog game is about, where we again run through the levels, jump, roll up into a ball, hit bots and, of course, collect gold rings. This game was released on the console Sega CD, and then was ported to the PC. It is a bit like the original game with Mega Drive: Landscapes quite similar, Sonic sprites are the same, but that's another game.

In this game first appeared Metal Sonic. He performs on a par with the eternal enemy of Sonic - Dr. Worker (Eggmenom). Metal Sonic Sonic steals girlfriend - Amy. Sonic has to save her, and along with the whole world. Feature of this game is that the main object of hunting is not Sonic's Chaos Emeralds (Chaos Emeralds), and the Stones of Time (Time Stones). In this game you can travel back in time to go into the past and the future. And it affects the end of the acts that you are going through.
