iPhone & iTouch Firmware (original) Free
Here is the iPhone and iTouch 2.0 Firmware. Instead of paying $9.99 for it you can download it here. This firmware gives the ability to have active sync for mail accounts and the ability for the itouch to have apps. This is not a jailbroken firmware so you have to pay for the apps you want. Steps: DL: http://rapidshare.com/files/147376865/iPod1_1_2.0_5A347_Restore.ipsw.001 http://rapidshare.com/files/147377901/iPod1_1_2.0_5A347_Restore.ipsw.002 http://rapidshare.com/files/147377537/iPod1_1_2.0_5A347_Restore.ipsw.003(join by hjsplit) 1) Open iTunes 2) Click Restore, than Restore and Upgrade (this will bring it to 1.1.5) 3) After it is done restoring press SHIFT+RESTORE at the same time this will bring up a file window. 4)Select the firmware that you downloaded and let it install 5) There now you have the latest firmware |
