Super Monkey Ball iPhone

First cracked application from the Appstore...
SUPER MONKEY BALL

Unfortunately just for Pwned (jailbroken) 2.0 users only

Pwnage tool HERE
http://rapidshare.com/files/131370305/PwnageTool_2.0.1.zip
HOW TO INSTALL
Quote:
1. Download SMB.zip and extract the Monkey Ball.app to your desktop. (extracted .app should be 119.8mb)

2. SSH to iphone (openSSH needed, found on Cydia: user:root pass:alpine)

3. Copy Monkey Ball.app into /Applications via SSH and set permissions to 775 recursive/to subdirectories

4. Create a folder named “Documents” in /var/mobile/ and set permission to 777 (Capital D)

5. Reboot your iPhone and have fun playing Super Monkey Ball!!!
If you get past the splash screens and the app quits, just check youve done EVERYTHING!

hmm thats weird, i used cyberduck aswell. what are you using to extract? if youre on mac try using archive utility rather than stuffit?

the extracted file should be 119.8mb

also make sure youre iphone isnt auto locking itself, that interupts the transfer

I just downloaded it straight and it extracted itself to the desktop. Its just the app on its own.

Heres a picture to show you.

I downloaded the app and SSH'ed it to my ipod using WinSCP but when i try to open it on my ipod it closes after maybe 1 second, so im guessing it's a permissions problem but i set my permissions to what you said. Any help?

Also, i noticed that when i browse into my /Applications folder, there are no applications in it, yet i still have all my applications on my ipod, just wondering if that may lead to a reason why this wont work.

The only thing wrong there i can see is that SMB.zip doesnt look like its been fully downloaded, the screenshot shows the file as only being partly downloaded by safari?

try deleting the app and the zip and re-downloading

ssh back into your iphone/itouch and check the permissions are "apply recursively/to subdirectorys" or similar on both the application and the Documents file. also double check the Douments file has a capital D

thats really weird, have you used SSH before? have you got any free applications? by the sounds of it is in the wrong directory, make sure youre in the ROOT/Applications folder, there should be Appstore, SMS, Mail and all the other default applications in there aswell
