"Wanted" tells the tale of one apathetic nobody's transformation into an unparalleled
enforcer of justice. In 2008, we're introduced to a hero for a new generation: 25 year
old employed slacker, WESLEY GIBSON. Wes is the most disaffected, cube-dwelling,
clock-punching drone this planet has ever known. His boss chews him out hourly, his
girlfriend ignores him routinely, and his life plods on in interminable boredom and
routine. Everyone knows this disengaged slacker will amount to absolutely nothing,
and so does he, until he meets the sexy, foxy woman named FOX, and then everything
changes. Wes' estranged father is murdered, and the deadly Fox recruits him into The
Fraternity, a secret society that trains him to avenge his father's death, by unlocking his
dormant powers. And oh boy does he have powers, as she teaches Wes how to develop
his lightning-quick reflexes and phenomenal agility, he discovers that The Fraternity lives
by an ancient, unbreakable code: to carry out the death orders given by
emotionless Fate itself.



The main merit is the total lack of inhibitions in its system of defying all the known
rules: of physics, biology, psychology, society and so on. It's charmingly absurd, in
an extremely clever sense. The humor is involved in a very subtle way, not at all
explicit, although obvious. Bekmambetov never presumes to wink at the audience,
same as Hitchcock, Spielberg and the most 007 series directors did. He trust us to
understand the full import of his mega-joke - and in a very respectful way.



NOTES:
Firstly top marks to MM for having the balls to go and film this.....big time respect
to you ;-)Right for a cam this is great...good picture and audio...like most original
sources there's cropping to be done all round the picture because on most sources
until there fixed you'll see the cinema walls etc....Also notice some auto focus on
this aswell.......and there is 2mins 19 secs of footage missing og the begining...thats
inc the universal intro.



WORK DONE:
Well i was going to add the missing footage off the russia cam but had no audio so i
just added the universal intro and the part after.....i think it's about 1min and half
missing....which is nothing important.The original file has a bad angle and some
camera movement so i needed to do some cropping all overall to make it look better.
Also done my normal filtering....making it a bit more colourful and brighter...The audio
was good for a cam so i left it as it was.
