[Software] Windows XP to be discontinued in early 2008

I think all of these discussions related to
the new move are Normal and Healthy
i remembered that when i was using
Win98 after the 3.11 and they said that
there will be a move toward Win2000
I tried 2000 version and find it lousy then
after few months i used 2000 then after few years they
launched XP edition and i said the same and after all
i started to use it many years later, then now move toward
Vista and i am saying that it is a normal and healthy scary
as well as refusal of the new which sooner or later will
be OUR OS and So On

well,thats not a problem for me. If vista really reach a certain security standard,i will switch to them.

I agree vista is trash, Xp preforms 10 to 20 percent better anyway; we always can use UBUNTU (maybe )

i really don't want XP to discontinue...it works so well with me and i am skeptical about vista right now.

I just switched last year and it was great, smooth. Leopard OS is way ahead vista, and lighter

My friend has Vista in his Laptop and I find it good looking at the most and nothing much. If security is good and cost is lesser then fine we might switch.
If the open source guys develop better interfaces in their O/S then I won't be surprised if microsoft reduces the price as many would have swithched by then.
