Affirmative, for Asus Eee laptops and similar which is to slow and pure configurations, Windows XP will still exist as an option for buying till the end of the year 2010, but only for that laptops... :-(

Vista will have its place forced on some of us. But many of us do not nor need everything that it is bloated within Vista...............

Bigger is not Always Better, look at the Nuclear Power Plants small self contained plants would and could power our cities quite well.......................

I disagree. It's not the UAC. a couple clicks and it's gone. It's the stability and compatibility that's so annoying. I do a lot of Video Editing, and I have to use either XP or Mac for that. Vista has no clue. And DRIVERS. Vista has been out for almost 2 years and even now stable drivers are few and far between. That is where the most complaints are coming from. I like vista... IF it runs stable. I don't care if it has tons of features and all the eye candy anyone could ever need... if it's not stable... what good is it?

I am using Xp..But still great working on my Pc.. you just know your OS tricks so you can manipulate and edit if some problem happens...,that is just for me...tnx..

Yeah, with the phasing out of XP -- Microsoft is a bully about things like this.. First, they'll stop all support, then they'll force new hardware/software not to be compatible (or less compatible) with XP... Within 5 years, XP will be to Vista what 98 is to XP now -- obsolete..... The major problem with this is, XP to Vista is a step down in many areas...
