I am using vista ultimate 64 bit, i hve not problem at all so far. I have XP on other PC, runs very well too. I was thinking to try Windows 7 but vista does the job very well yet.
So that, Vista if you know how to handle it runs ok. |

currently running Windows XP SP3: Professional Editional (new to me...this sp3 but whatever); Still, Hope Micro-crap keep it active for another 5+ more years. Windows Vista isn't worth anyones time, the fact they tried to monopolize on the Windows XP sales ...I'm still stunned at them trying to market 1 O.S. in 3 different types... 1.Basic. 2. Premium 3. Ultimate Edition. None of which is worth gameing or hosting a game server on...
Any new news on them still ending providing users with up-to-date patches from Windows Updates? Last edited by 6.12.81; September 27th, 2009 at 08:14 PM. |

I got both windows 7 and xp. Im currently still using xp cause my wifi doesnt work yet in windows 7.
One thing Ive noticed about window 7 64 is it boots up much faster (probably partially cause its a new install) and also it is faster dealing with large files like opening my 50gb directory of movies there is a delay in xp but not in windows 7 |

Why are you all leaving "thank you" comments; That not what this thread is about. Topic is about leaving your opinions, feelings, likes or dislikes, agreeing or disagreeing about Microsoft Corp. choosing to discontinue supporting Windows XP Service Packs 1, 2 or 3; security/software driver updates.
If the contents from page 1 to now (page 6) have been read by the users commenting; then, it would be most apparent that either your opinion is for or against Windows XP choosing to being disconnected from Windows Update list. No more leaving "Thank You" comments. Doing so will earn you a warning, then if continued then shall receive a 2 week ban. -Only opinions relevant to said topic are allowed on this page. -Only reputation button for Author [who originally started this thread] must be selected. -Windows 7 topic are NOT allowed; Admin/Mod(s) say's otherwise. --6.12.81 Last edited by 6.12.81; January 4th, 2010 at 12:09 AM. |
