Monsieur Septime (Louis de Funes), owner of the top-notch Parisian French restaurant, 'Chez Septime', regularly welcomes famous people from all over the world to his restaurant. One day, the Head of State of a South American Country, the president Novalès, who was having dinner in his restaurant suddently disappears. Everything seem to make Monsieur Septime an accomplice for the disappearance of president Novalès and his life then turns upside down...
