It’s been just a few days and we’ve seen several updates on the PSP Custom Firmware scene. If you’re looking for CFW 5.00 M33-2, you can look at the changelog on my guide on how to install 5.00 M33 but I suggest skipping it since the latest update provides fixes to:

A bug was introduced in 5.00 M33-2 that made some games and homebrew not to work
PSN version check is now automatically bypassed without need of touching any setting
Requirements
Your PSP installed with 5.00 M33-2 or 5.00 M33. If you still don’t have your PSP updated , here’s how you can install 5.00 M33 or M33-2.
PSP battery that’s at least 78% full


How to install 5.00 M33-3 CFW on your PSP:

Extract the 5.00 M33-3 installer files to your computer.
Copy the Update folder to X:/PSP/GAME/ on your PSP’s memory stick.
Run 5.00 M33-3 UPDATE from under Game on your PSP’s XMB
After all process is complete, press X. Your PSP will reboot.
Congratulations, you’ve just installed 5.00 M33-3

Last I checked you would still need a pandora battery or another already CFWed PSP.

If your PSP is the latest model 2000 series or any 3000 series there's a separate exploit you have to run to temporarily load CFW.
